Deep in southeastern Cameroon lies Nki National Park, one of the largest and most pristine protected rainforest ecosystems in Central Africa. Covering more than 3,000 square kilometres of untouched Congo Basin rainforest, Nki remains one of the continent's least visited wilderness destinations. This five-day expedition takes you far beyond conventional tourism routes into a world of towering rainforest trees, remote wildlife clearings and extraordinary biodiversity. Accompanied by experienced local guides, you will explore the legendary Ikwah Bai, a natural forest clearing renowned for attracting forest elephants, western lowland gorillas, buffalo, giant forest hogs and numerous other rainforest species. Accommodation is provided in expedition tents and simple rainforest shelters along the route, offering an authentic wilderness experience. Evenings are spent surrounded by the sounds of the forest, providing a rare opportunity to experience the Congo Basin after dark, when the sounds of the jungle become part of the adventure itself.
